Bluecadet‘s project for James Zabiela combined the top three sources of social media – Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr - to provide James’ fans with a way to stay in touch with their idol. Have a video from one of James’ shows? Post it to YouTube and it showed up on his site. Have a photo from when you ran into him on the beach in Ibiza? Upload it to Flickr and it showed up in the site’s photo gallery.
Familiar patterns now, but back then they had to be built from scratch.
